our projects
At Wesley Welfare Development Institute, our work is rooted in a deep commitment to community transformation. Since 2006, we have been serving underserved communities through carefully planned, grassroots initiatives that focus on health, education, empowerment, and essential support. We believe meaningful change happens when care is consistent, practical, and delivered with dignity. Healthcare remains one of the pillars of our outreach. We regularly conduct health camps and dental camps to ensure that individuals and families who lack access to medical services receive timely check-ups, basic treatments, preventive care, and health awareness. By addressing medical needs early and consistently, we help strengthen the overall well-being of the communities we serve. Alongside healthcare, we actively distribute groceries and essential ration supplies to underprivileged families in local communities. For many households facing economic hardship, access to basic food supplies can be uncertain. Through organized grocery distribution drives, we provide relief that ensures families have access to nutritious staples and daily necessities. This support not only addresses immediate hunger but also brings stability and reassurance during difficult times. Empowering women is another vital part of our mission. Through vocational training programs such as tailoring and sweater weaving, we equip women with income-generating skills that enable them to support their families and build financial independence. These initiatives create sustainable livelihood opportunities while strengthening confidence and resilience within the community. At the heart of our work is our major project, Happy House. Happy House is a residential initiative that provides a safe and nurturing environment for children from vulnerable backgrounds. Beyond shelter, it offers nutritious meals, access to education, healthcare support, emotional guidance, and life skills training. We are committed to ensuring that every child receives the care, stability, and encouragement needed to grow into a confident and capable individual. Through our integrated approach—combining healthcare outreach, grocery distribution, residential care, education, and livelihood training—we continue to nurture lives, strengthen families, and build a foundation for lasting and meaningful change.
