health camps

At Wesley Welfare Development Institute, caring for the community has always been at the heart of our mission. Our health camps are not one-time events—they are consistent efforts to ensure that underserved families receive dignified, accessible healthcare. Through free medical check-ups, early diagnosis, distribution of essential medicines, and preventive health awareness, we reach those who often delay treatment due to financial hardship. Each camp becomes a space of reassurance, where people are heard, treated, and supported with compassion. Between 2006 and 2012, our work in Ramtekade, Pune focused deeply on maternal health. We walked alongside pregnant women during one of the most vulnerable phases of their lives—providing nutritional guidance, regular health monitoring, free medical consultations, and essential medication. By strengthening maternal nutrition and care, we helped safeguard both mothers and their newborns, laying the foundation for healthier families. Since 2012, our outreach has continued in Krishna Nagar, where we regularly conduct health and dental camps for children and families. Along with consultations and screenings, we distribute free medicines and promote hygiene awareness to prevent long-term health complications. Through every initiative, our commitment remains the same—to serve with empathy, protect community health, and ensure that no one is left behind when it comes to care and well-being.
